In June of 1932, a group felt the need for a Sunday School in the community. So, they began to meet in the yard of Tom Canody. The group then moved to the property of Dick Langhorne. Mr. Langhorne decided to give a lot on which to erect a church. Because of his generosity, it was decided that the new church would be named, Langhorne Chapel. In 1936, construction began. Today, Langhorne Chapel continues to serve the community as a nondenominational church. We pray that by God's Grace we can continue to be true to our roots: teaching God's Word and reaching out to people.
